Project 365–This Week in Photographs: Week 5

I spent week 5 split between two vastly different climates. The bitter cold of Chicago and the above average temperatures of Austin. Packing for the trip was an adventure: How do you pack in a way to stay warm enough that you don’t freeze on the way to the airport and also don’t sweat through all your clothes during your vacation? I left Chicago when it was so cold our windows were completely frozen over and you could actually see your breath at the gate when they opened the doors to start boarding the plane. Basically frigid. I arrived in Austin to sun and people walking around in short sleeves and shorts. And I returned to Chicago with about 2 inches of snow on the ground. My photographs from week 5 reflect a mix of the two climates.
