Afternoon in Lurie Garden

There’s nothing worse than being cooped up inside, in a windowless office, staring at a computer screen when the weather is nice. It’s just depressing. I’m lucky enough to have a pretty awesome boss who decided to give me an extended lunch a few weeks ago to go enjoy the weather. I took my book and walked down to Lurie Garden by Millennium Park. It wasn’t as stunning as in the summer, especially since parts of the garden were under construction, and more than a few student groups came through, but it was still nice to be outside and away from the office.
